Update: It will be Blake Griffin versus Minnesota’s Kevin Love, or the battle of double-doubles. Griffin has recorded 15 consecutive double-doubles, the latest one coming in Saturday’s one-point victory against Chicago. Love’s last game? He had 43 points and 17 rebounds at Denver, the 14th straight double-double with at least 14 rebounds. The only players in the NBA this season to have performances with 40 points or more and 15 rebounds or more are Love and Griffin. Griffin’s came last month against the New York Knicks when he scored 44 points and added 15 rebounds. The Clippers are returning home after back-to-back wins on the road.
