The top executive at a government-backed California workers’ compensation insurer has resigned for personal reasons, the company said.
Janet Frank was hired two years ago to bring stability to the State Compensation Insurance Fund, known as State Fund. The insurance company had been plagued with conflict-of-interest allegations after the forced resignations of its former president and vice president. A criminal probe is continuing.
