Drowned boy: Articles in the California section Sept. 12 and 13, 2006, and May 6, 2007, about a Fullerton man accused of drowning his son in a bathtub said Richard Omondi was 4 years old when he died. Prosecutors now say the boy was 6. The error was only recently brought to editors’ attention after the father, Gideon Walter Omondi, was convicted of the crime.
