NEW YORK — Brian Roberts hit a grand slam in a six-run second inning and tied a franchise record with his 51st double as the Orioles beat up A.J. Burnett and the Yankees.
Brian Matusz (5-2) won his third straight start, and the Yankees lost consecutive games for the first time since Aug. 16-17 at Seattle and Oakland.
Burnett (11-9) gave up six runs and seven hits in seven innings and has a 7.67 ERA in his last five outings.
