Cami McCormick, the CBS News correspondent who was injured in a roadside bomb explosion in Afghanistan last week, will be returning to the United States this week to undergo further treatment at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, the network said Monday.
McCormick, 47, who was on assignment for CBS Radio News, suffered fractures to her legs and arms in the attack, which also killed Spc. Abraham S. Wheeler III of Columbia, S.C., and injured two other soldiers.
