Key: Tom Brady set an NFL record by throwing five touchdown passes in the second quarter (six overall), and the Patriots built the biggest halftime lead, 45-0, in league history. The 59-point margin matched the largest since the NFL-AFL merger in 1970, the Los Angeles Rams’ 59-0 victory over the Atlanta Falcons in 1976. The Patriots gained a club-record 619 yards.
