A judge has slashed a jury’s award to a radiologist who alleged he was wrongfully terminated from Kaiser Permanente Medical Center from $11 million to $735,444.
Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Mary Thornton House on Monday reduced the judgment because she said the jurors had received improper instructions prior to their deliberations.
Radiologist Michael Martinucci sued the hospital, saying he was improperly fired for refusing to perform medical procedures and was falsely accused of racial and sexual harassment.
