Bank of America Corp. said Jackie M. Ward and Patricia E. Mitchell had resigned as directors, boosting the exodus of board members to five since April.
Ward and Mitchell stepped down Wednesday, two days before the bank named two ex-regulators and two former bankers as directors. Additional director resignations from the bank’s board are imminent, the company said.
Ward and Mitchell said their decision to resign didn’t reflect any disagreement with the company or management.
