at Atlanta 6, Chicago 5 (12): Cubs rookie Randy Wells didn’t give up a hit until two out in the seventh, then Jeff Francoeur tied it with a two-out, two-run homer in the ninth and Chipper Jones won it with a single in the 12th.
at Pittsburgh 3, New York 1: Zach Duke pitched seven effective innings to outduel Johan Santana.
at Washington 10, San Francisco 6: Christian Guzman hit a tiebreaking RBI single in the Nationals’ six-run eighth inning.
at Florida 10, Milwaukee 3: Cody Ross hit a grand slam and Dan Uggla became the fastest second baseman to reach 100 homers. It came in Uggla’s 502nd game as a second baseman, beating Alfonso Soriano by 34 games.
at Houston 3, Colorado 2 (11): Miguel Tejada hit a game-winning homer off Josh Fogg in the 11th inning to cap a three-RBI night.
at St. Louis 5, Cincinnati 2: Rookie Nick Stavinoha had a two-run, go-ahead double in the sixth inning.
at Dodgers 6, Arizona 5: James Loney sparked a five-run rally in the eighth.
