Times Wire Reports
Remains of the last two Australians listed as missing in action in the Vietnam War have been found in the wreckage of a bomber that crashed in a jungle 39 years ago.
An Australian air force team found the remains of pilot Michael Herbert and navigator Robert Carver near the Laos border.
The two men, both 24, were the crew of a bomber that crashed Nov. 3, 1970.
The United States still has nearly 1,800 servicemen unaccounted for throughout Southeast Asia. About 1,335 are unaccounted for in Vietnam alone.
