A 50-year-old man hiking in Griffith Park slipped, fell into an inaccessible area and was hoisted out by helicopter Saturday afternoon.
The man was hiking up Bee Rock near Mount Hollywood when he tumbled into a hard-to-reach location about 200 feet from the top of the rock, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman d’Lisa Davies. He was not injured.
