Bryant drills a tiebreaking, fadeaway 20-foot jumper with LeBron James guarding him with 8.6 seconds to play. James then misses a 15-footer with Bryant guarding him as time expires.

After a circus three-pointer to tie in regulation, Bryant takes an inbounds pass just left of the top of the arc, turns and makes a jumper over Theo Ratliff’s fingertips at the buzzer, giving the Lakers the division title.
