Broadway actress Rachel York is going to have to learn to sing and dance in heavy fur coats for her latest stage role.
York will play the fur-loving uber-villainess Cruella de Vil in the new stage musical “101 Dalmatians,” which is set to open at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood on June 8, 2010, for a two-week run as part of the Broadway/L.A. series.
The show, directed by Tony winner Jerry Zaks, will premiere as a North American tour that will kick off in October in Minneapolis.
