A 17-year-old girl bit one San Diego police officer on the arm and stabbed another in the face with a pen in an attempt Wednesday night to keep them from arresting her father, police said.
The officers had gone to a home in the Lake Murray neighborhood to arrest the father on a warrant for assault with a deadly weapon. As they handcuffed him, his daughter went into a rage and attacked the officers, police said.
Police used a Taser gun to subdue the girl, who was taken to Juvenile Hall. Her father is in the downtown jail, and the officers received medical treatment, police said.
