Hilton Hotels Corp. received a federal subpoena for documents related to Hilton’s hiring of former employees of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. and for materials Hilton said it returned to Starwood.
The grand jury subpoena was issued after Starwood filed a lawsuit Thursday in federal court in New York, alleging that two former Starwood executives hired by Hilton stole information about Starwood’s W hotel brand to develop Hilton’s Denizen hotels, Hilton said in a statement.
