Pedestrian killed on Ventura Blvd.

A young pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday on a busy street, police said.
The incident occurred about 5 p.m. in the 20700 block of Ventura Boulevard near Kelvin Avenue, according to L.A. police Officer Jason Lee.
Lee said the victim, who died at the scene, appeared to have been in his late teens.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation was continuing, Lee said.
