“Private Stories: Monologues for Young Actors”
Elizabeth Bauman
We love our teacher, Elizabeth Bauman, and we think her acting book is great! It has really helped us with our acting by having us ask ourselves the questions she raises. The monologues themselves are great and interesting. Stories that show and tell how we really feel.

“Nate the Great and the Owl Express”
Marjorie Weinmart Sharmat
If you like mysteries, read this book. Olivia, Nate the Great’s cousin, asks him to guard her owl. Her owl is supposed to be inside her cage. But then the owl disappears. Nate has three suspects: an owl man, an old lady and a person who has a problem with rhyming. I won’t tell you the rest, because I don’t want to spoil the story.
