Two of the three victims of a crash last week in which a single-engine plane narrowly missed hitting residents in a neighborhood near the municipal airport have been identified.
Zachery Ronald, 23, of Anaheim and Brent William Allen, 35, of Rancho Santa Margarita were killed after the 1963 Mooney M20C crashed about 10 p.m. Wednesday in the 8700 block of Pembroke Avenue, according to the Riverside County coroner’s office.
A third occupant of the plane has not been identified.
The plane appeared to have landed in Riverside after taking off from Corona Municipal Airport. It was headed back to Corona when it crashed, authorities said. National Transportation Safety Board investigators said it could be many months before the cause of the crash is determined.
