‘Petticoat Junction’: An article in Tuesday’s Calendar section about “Petticoat Junction” arriving on DVD said that by spring 1970, “all of the rural homespun shows were put out to pasture” by CBS. Although “Petticoat Junction” ended in 1970, it wasn’t until the fall of 1971 that the last of them departed CBS’ prime-time schedule.
