Eight months after its last effort to expand into the San Fernando Valley was rebuffed by the Los Angeles City Council, Home Depot has filed an application to open a 95,250-square-foot store on Foothill Boulevard in Sunland- Tujunga.
The application was filed with the Department of Building and Safety days before supporters and opponents of the project go into a city-run mediation session.
The session will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Gleason Middle School, 10965 Mt. Gleason Ave., Sunland.
