Putting sun block on squirmy, sandy kids? Not calming. Taking the family to the public bathrooms every few minutes? No deep breathing there. Changing a diaper on sand? I wouldn’t call it therapeutic. Counting my three kids every 10 seconds to make sure I haven’t lost them? Definitely shortening my life span.
Of course, seeing them blissfully enjoy the purity of sand and water ... why, that’s priceless.
