Laurie, Larry David separating

After 14 years of marriage, Laurie and Larry David announced Tuesday they were separating. A spokeswoman for the couple said the split was amicable and that “they are 100% committed to raising their children as friends.” Their daughters are 10 and 13.

Larry David co-created “Seinfeld” and stars in the HBO series “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” which will begin a new season in the fall, while Laurie David, who helped produce the Al Gore global warming documentary “An Inconvenient Truth,” has written a book for children about global warming called “Down to Earth,” which Scholastic will release in September.
