* Cincinnati 7, at Florida 5: Ryan Freel hit a three-run homer in the eighth inning and the Reds, who trailed, 3-0, rallied to win their fourth in a row.
* at Milwaukee 10, Arizona 1: Rookie Yovani Gallardo pitched six shutout innings and Tony Graffanino homered for the Brewers, who scored four runs in the sixth to break it open.
* at Atlanta 10, St. Louis 1: Andruw Jones homered and drove in three runs and the Braves ended a three-game losing streak. St. Louis has lost four of seven.
* at Washington 5, Colorado 4 (10 innings): D’Angelo Jimenez’s first hit in 20 at-bats as a pinch hitter this season was a game-ending RBI single with one out in the 10th inning.
* at San Diego 1, Philadelphia 0: The Padres, who had only three hits, scored their run in the third on a one-out single by Geoff Blum, who was sacrificed to second by winning pitcher Chris Young (9-3). Brian Giles then doubled to drive home Blum.
* New York 13, at Dodgers 9: The Dodgers outhit the Mets, 19-16, but New York won the opener of the four-game series.
