Woman Found Drowned in Motel Swimming Pool

A 55-year-old woman found dead in a motel swimming pool about a block from Disneyland Friday apparently drowned accidentally, authorities said.
Her name and city of residence were not released.
She was found about 8:30 p.m. at the Super 8 Motel in the 400 block of West Katella Avenue, said Tim Butler, a battalion chief with the Anaheim Fire Department. She was pronounced dead at Western Medical Center-Anaheim.
The incident is under investigation, Butler said.
