Northrop Grumman Corp. has established an engineering center in Huntsville, Ala., that will use the company’s simulation software to help the Pentagon integrate its air- and missile-defense systems.
The center, which will consolidate several operations in the Huntsville area, is scheduled to be fully operational in February, Century City-based Northrop said.
The new facility will use Northrop-developed software to simulate air- and missile-defense scenarios from any perspective and allow users to determine the best rules of engagement.
