A bouncer at the California Girls Night Club was fatally shot Monday by an unruly patron, authorities said.
Michael Blankenhorn, 26, of Anaheim had told the patron and his friends that they had to leave the Harbor Boulevard strip club about 6:45 p.m. A fight ensued outside the club, Blankenhorn was shot and the shooter fled, said Dan McDermott, a Santa Ana police commander.
The shooter has not been identified or arrested, McDermott said.
