Suit Over Closed-Door Meeting to Go Forward

From Times Staff and Wire Reports

A lawsuit challenging the propriety of a closed-door meeting in which Cal State University trustees received information about the return of a former chancellor and ex-Getty Trust chief to teach English can move forward, a judge ruled Tuesday.

John Travis, president of the California Faculty Assn., said in his lawsuit that the Cal State trustees acted improperly when they held the private informational meeting March 14 regarding Barry Munitz.
