The Defense Department last week also identified the following American military personnel killed in Iraq:
Daniel J. Allman II, 20, of Canon, Ga.; private first class, Army. Allman was one of two soldiers killed Monday in Baghdad when an improvised explosive device detonated
near their vehicle during combat operations. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division in Schweinfurt, Germany.
Timothy W. Brown, 21, of Sacramento; lance corporal, Marine Corps. Brown died Tuesday while conducting combat operations in Al Anbar province. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, 3rd Marine Expeditionary Force at Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.
Bryan K. Burgess, 35, of Garden City, Mich.; sergeant, Marine Forces Reserve. Burgess died Nov. 9 while conducting combat operations in Al Anbar province. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 24th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division in Perrysburg, Ohio.
Michael A. Cerrone, 24, of Clarksville, Tenn.; first lieutenant, Army. Cerrone was one of two soldiers killed Nov. 12 in Samarra when an improvised explosive device detonated near their vehicle during combat operations. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division at Ft. Bragg, N.C.
Thomas H. Felts Sr., 45, of Sandston, Va.; colonel, Army. Felts was one of two soldiers killed Tuesday in Baghdad when an improvised explosive device detonated near their vehicle during combat operations. He was assigned to the Command and General Staff College, School of Advanced Military Studies at Ft. Leavenworth, Kan.
Justin R. Garcia, 26, of Elmhurst, N.Y.; specialist, Army. Garcia was one of two soldiers killed Tuesday in Baghdad when an improvised explosive device detonated near their vehicle during combat operations. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division at Ft. Lewis, Wash.
Mario D. Gonzalez, 21, of La Puente; lance corporal, Marine Corps. Gonzalez died Tuesday while conducting combat operations in Al Anbar province. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, 3rd Marine Expeditionary Force at Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.
Schuyler B. Haynes, 40, of New York; sergeant first class, Army. Haynes was one of two soldiers killed Wednesday in Baqubah when an improvised explosive device detonated near their vehicle during combat operations. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division at Ft. Hood, Texas.
William S. Jackson II, 29, of Saginaw, Mich.; staff sergeant, Army. Jackson was one of three soldiers killed Nov. 11 in Ar Ramadi when an improvised explosive device detonated near their vehicle during combat operations. He was assigned to the 16th Engineer Battalion, 1st Brigade, 1st Armored Division in Giessen, Germany.
Courtland A. Kennard, 22, of Starkville, Miss.; sergeant, Army. Kennard was one of two soldiers killed Nov. 9 in Baghdad after an improvised explosive device detonated near their vehicle. Kennard was assigned to the 410th Military Police Company, 720th Military Police Battalion, 89th Military Police Brigade at Ft. Hood, Texas.

Kim was one of two soldiers killed Monday in Baghdad when an improvised explosive device detonated near their vehicle during combat operations. Tung M. Nguyen, 38, of Tracy, Calif.; sergeant first class, Army. Nguyen died Tuesday in Baghdad of injuries suffered when his unit came in contact with enemy forces using small-arms fire during combat operations. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group at Ft. Bragg, N.C.
Angel De Jesus Lucio Ramirez, 22, of Pacoima; sergeant, Army. Ramirez was one of three soldiers killed Nov. 11 in Ar Ramadi when an improvised explosive device detonated near their vehicle during combat operations. He was assigned to the 16th Engineer Battalion, 1st Brigade, 1st Armored Division in Giessen, Germany.
Eric G. Palacios Rivera, 21, of Atlantic City, N.J.; specialist, Army. Rivera died Tuesday in Ar Ramadi of injuries suffered when his unit came in contact with enemy forces using small-arms fire during combat operations. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 18th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division in Schweinfurt, Germany.
Rudy A. Salcido, 31, of Ontario, Calif.; sergeant first class, Army National Guard. Salcido died Nov. 9 in Baghdad after an improvised explosive device detonated near his convoy vehicle. He was assigned to the 1114th Transportation Company in Bakersfield.
Rhett W. Schiller, 26, of Wisconsin; captain, Army. Schiller died Thursday in Balad Ruz of injuries suffered when his unit came in contact with enemy forces using small-arms fire during combat operations. He was assigned to the 5th Squadron, 73rd Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division at Ft. Bragg, N.C.
Michael D. Scholl, 21, of Lincoln, Neb.; lance corporal, Marine Corps. Scholl died Tuesday from wounds sustained while conducting combat operations in Al Anbar province. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, 3rd Marine Expeditionary Force at Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.
Kristopher C. Warren, 19, of Resaca, Ga.; lance corporal, Marine Corps. Warren died Nov. 9 from a nonhostile incident in Al Anbar province. He was assigned to the 4th Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division in Chattanooga, Tenn.
Harry A. Winkler III, 32, of Clarksville, Tenn.; private first class, Army. Winkler was one of two soldiers killed Nov. 12 in Samarra when an improvised explosive device detonated near their vehicle during combat operations. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division at Ft. Bragg, N.C.
