Update -- Having had a bye week and thus 10 days to regroup, the Galaxy tonight takes on the team that defeated it, 1-0, at the Home Depot Center on May 20. That loss extended the Galaxy’s losing streak to four games and its club-record scoreless streak to 390 minutes. Goalkeeper Joe Cannon, who had been sidelined because of a groin strain, is listed as probable for the Rapids, who are coming off a 2-2 tie at Real Salt Lake on Saturday. Galaxy winger Cobi Jones will not play because of a sprained right foot and the team will also be without midfielder Pete Vagenas because of a strained right quadriceps. Neither made the trip, which also includes a game against the Houston Dynamo on Saturday. The Galaxy is in last place in the Western Conference with seven points, tied with Chivas USA but having played two more games. Colorado is in third place with 11 points. The Galaxy’s 97 shots are second to D.C. United’s 106 but they have resulted in a league-low six goals in nine games.
