Coyotes Manhandle the Sharks Again, 5-2
Steven Reinprecht scored his tiebreaking second goal on a power play early in the third period, and the Phoenix Coyotes continued their mastery over the San Jose Sharks with a 5-2 victory Thursday night at San Jose.
Mike Johnson had a goal and two assists for the Coyotes, who won for the sixth time in eight games. Curtis Joseph made 27 saves and Phoenix scored its fifth victory over San Jose in six games this season.

Saku Koivu scored his first goal in more than two months to give host Montreal a 3-2 victory over Washington, the Canadiens’ fifth consecutive victory.... Dmitry Afanasenkov scored two goals and host Tampa Bay edged Atlanta, 4-3.... At Ottawa, Ray Emery made 24 saves and the Senators defeated the New York Rangers, 4-1.... Brendan Shanahan and Jason Williams each had a goal and an assist in the third period and Detroit won at Nashville, 4-2.
