From Times Wire Reports

Six members of a Ku Klux Klan splinter group have pleaded guilty to plotting to steal and sell guns as a way to raise money to blow up a North Carolina courthouse and kill a county sheriff, a federal prosecutor said in Raleigh.

All six pleaded guilty to charges including theft of firearms and possession of stolen firearms in return for other charges being dropped, Assistant U.S. Atty. Eric Goulian said.

Johnston County Sheriff Steve Bizzell said the men were angry with him after they were blocked from marching at a popular community festival.
