Erica Rosenberg describes the typical House Republicans’ demolition approach to the legislative process, forcing passage of bills they want without going through traditional floor debates and opportunities for Democratic-sponsored amendments. These subversive tactics should be considered traitorous acts that go against the Constitution. Rep. Richard Pombo (R-Tracy) and his fellow Republicans are eroding the legislative process. Are they to be allowed to go on with this?
