Water District Won’t Get Part of PG

Pacific Gas & Electric won a vote that would prevent a water district from buying part of its power system.
The vote by a San Joaquin County commission denied the South San Joaquin Irrigation District’s plans to buy a 112-square-mile section of the Pacific Gas power system that serves about 35,000 customers.
