A 19-month-old girl who had been missing since her mother was killed last weekend was found unharmed Wednesday night in Puebla, Mexico.
San Diego police said Alejandra Gomez was taken from her home by her mother’s husband, Gildardo Rodriguez, 31, on Saturday evening. The mother, Emilia Gomez, 23, was found stabbed to death Sunday. Police have obtained an arrest warrant for Rodriguez charging him with the kidnapping. Police said the girl, a U.S. citizen, would be returned to the United States.
