First of 101st Airborne Returns to Ft. Campbell

A 50-member “torch party” from the 101st Airborne has arrived at Ft. Campbell in advance of the return of the rest of the division from a yearlong tour in Iraq. Most of the 20,000 soldiers are to be home by September, officials said. The first returning soldiers are known in Army parlance as a torch party, which prepares a base for the arrival of other division members.
