When you’re in need of a lift

Re: “Erase the Past, for Good” [June 26]: Early intervention is a great idea. From my experience, the most natural feeling and safest filler is your own fat. When used to replace lost volume, it has proven to be long lasting.
Good surgery looks natural and is hard to detect. Well conceived face-lifts are minimally invasive, with incisions well hidden inside of the front of the ear, avoiding the hair and scars behind the ear.
While fillers can’t correct the droop and distortion of the features that are a result of aging, a good face-lift can restore facial contours, and keep you looking like your youthful self for a very long time.

Your “health” section loses all credibility when the front page article discusses the variety of injections available to disguise the effects of aging.
In what capacity is this a featured health issue? How about the health approach to the reality of aging, the immorality of ageism, the ironic inevitability of becoming a member of a group our culture maintains a consistent revulsion/pity toward?
