Rep. Katherine Harris Faces Ovarian Surgery

Rep. Katherine Harris announced in Tampa that she would undergo surgery later this month to remove an ovarian mass, which will be tested to determine whether it is malignant.
The 49-year-old congresswoman, who is campaigning for the Republican nomination for a U.S. Senate seat, will visit Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington for preoperative testing Monday, her campaign office said. The surgical procedure is scheduled for July 17.
