Villanova Continues Hot Start
Allan Ray matched his season high with 26 points and No. 4 Villanova equaled its best start in the Big East with a 79-73 victory over Louisville on Monday night at Philadelphia.
The Wildcats, 16-2 overall and 7-1 in the Big East, twice seemed to have control of the game with a double-digit lead but the Cardinals (14-7, 2-6) pulled close twice before losing.
No. 20 Ohio State 95, Florida A&M; 53 -- J.J. Sullinger scored 24 points to lead the Buckeyes (15-3) at Columbus, Ohio. Rome Sanders led Florida A&M; (10-11) with 15 points.
WOMEN
Seimone Augustus scored 29 points to lead No. 3 Louisiana State (18-1) to an 88-57 victory over No. 10 Baylor (15-4) at Baton Rouge, La.
No. 23 Boston College 75, No. 24 North Carolina State 66 -- Aja Parham scored a career-high 24 points to lead the Eagles, 15-6 overall and 2-4 in the Atlantic Coast Conference, at Raleigh, N.C. The Wolfpack is 13-7, 3-4.
