California Upsets Arizona State
Alexis Gray-Lawson led four players in double figures with 23 points as California held on for a 66-64 victory over No. 13 Arizona State at Berkeley.
The Bears (15-3, 6-2 Pacific 10) held on after leading, 25-9, to beat a ranked team for the first time since since Dec. 21, 1998.
Amy Denson had 19 points for Arizona State (14-4, 5-3).

No. 21 Temple 48, No. 9 Rutgers 47 -- Candice Dupree scored 14 points, including the go-ahead basket with 1:48 to play, and the Owls (13-4) ended the Scarlet Knights’ 20-game home winning streak. Rutgers fell to 12-3.

No. 11 Purdue 70, Penn State 56 -- Katie Gearlds tied a season-high with 28 points to lead the Boilermakers (14-2, 6-0) to their 10th straight victory in beating the Nittany Lions (7-10, 1-5) at West Lafayette, Ind.

No. 12 Michigan State 72, Illinois 61 -- Lindsay Bowen scored 16 points, including the first eight of the game, to help the Spartans (14-5, 4-2 Big Ten) stop the Fighting Illini (12-5, 4-2), at East Lansing, Mich.

No 13 Georgia 81, Mississippi State 42 -- Sherill Baker had 15 points and 10 of Georgia’s 21 steals in a victory over Mississippi State (6-12, 1-4 SEC) at Athens, Ga. Georgia improved to 13-4, 3-1.

No. 14 Stanford 82, Arizona 51 -- Brooke Smith had 20 points and 11 rebounds to help the Cardinal (12-4, 7-1 Pac-10) beat the Wildcats (6-12, 2-6) at Palo Alto.

No. 16 Minnesota 85, Michigan 57 -- Jamie Broback and Shannon Bolden scored 12 points apiece, and the Gophers (12-4, 5-1 Big Ten) beat the Wolverines (6-12, 0-5)at Ann Arbor, Mich.
