Rambus Earnings Up in Fourth Quarter
Rambus Inc., a San Francisco-based maker of computer memory chip technology, posted a higher quarterly profit Thursday, boosted by a gain related to debt reduction and a rise in royalty revenue.
Fourth-quarter net income rose to $9.4 million, or 9 cents a share, from $6.5 million, or 6 cents, a year earlier. Revenue rose 7.7% to $41.6 million.
Rambus shares fell 16 cents to $33.92.
