Movie Industry Sues Over Counterfeit DVDs

The Motion Picture Assn. of America Inc., the trade group representing the seven largest U.S. movie studios, sued seven people who the group says sold counterfeit DVDs over EBay Inc.’s auction site.
The movies included Warner Bros.’ “Million Dollar Baby,” Sony Pictures’ “Stealth” and 20th Century Fox’s “Ice Age,” according to the lawsuit filed in federal court in Los Angeles.
