Coldplay has popped up so much in Southern California in the last year that it’s beginning to seem more like a neighborhood bar band than one of the elite of British rock. But Chris Martin’s enthusiasm has never flagged as he’s led his mates through Coldplay’s rich body of work, and they figure to be in fine form for this arena swing. The real unknown is opening act Fiona Apple, whose recent theater concert at the Wiltern LG almost seemed like a tryout for the arena setting.
