Rates on 30-, 15-Year Mortgages Decline

Mortgage rates around the country dipped for the second week in a row.
Rates on 30-year fixed-rate mortgages fell to a nationwide average of 6.63%, down from 6.72% last week, mortgage company Freddie Mac reported.
Rates on 15-year fixed-rate mortgages, a popular choice for refinancing, fell to 6.27% from 6.34% last week.
Rates on one-year adjustable-rate mortgages dropped to 5.69% from 5.78%.
The mortgage rates do not include add-on fees known as points. The 30-year and 15-year mortgages each carried a nationwide average fee of 0.3 point. One-year ARMs carried an average fee of 0.7 point.
