Net gains
THE day was cool and blustery, so the panga fishermen in San Quintin, in Baja California, Mexico, didn’t have much in their nets. But Don Drissel, a Sony Cybershot-toting retiree from Seal Beach, got a striking image, although not a big meal, out of the bucket. Drissel and two buddies camped in an RV on the Baja beach for four days last month. “None of us had been in that area,†he said. “It was pretty kick-back, and everyone was very friendly.â€
