Political truth serum

Re “The deficit disaster,” Opinion, Sept. 21
Every member of Congress should be injected with truth serum and asked to comment on Crispin Sartwell’s article about our spiraling national debt. I’m sure the responses would give new meaning to the words hide, ignore, deny and deflect. Perhaps as each member’s term expires, his or her personal assets can be seized and sold to help fund this lunacy. Think that would affect change?
