A Huntington Beach motorcyclist was killed early Wednesday in a crash in a freeway lane blocked by a car whose driver later fled the scene.
Ryan Cook, 23, was riding south in the carpool lane of the Costa Mesa Freeway north of MacArthur Boulevard when he hit the dark-colored Hyundai about 12:30 a.m., the California Highway Patrol said.
