Ronald Brownstein’s “improvements†would shift more healthcare costs to taxpayers but would do nothing to reduce the total cost.
The real solution is well known and is already working in the more civilized, secular, industrial democracies of the world. It is the single-payer healthcare system operated by the national government and largely insulated from politics.
