Woman Pregnant With 2nd Set Of Quadruplets
An Australian woman is pregnant with her second set of quadruplets, Sydney’s Sunday Telegraph newspaper reported.
The four are due in December, when the first set will be 16 months old. Dale and Darren Chalk, of Brisbane, also have a 2-year-old girl. All nine have been conceived using sperm from the same anonymous donor.
The mother, 26, told reporters after the first quads were born, “if we had quads again, that would be the bees’ knees.â€
Australian Multiple Birth Assn. chairwoman Cathy Vellacott called the idea of having eight kids younger than 2 “mind-boggling.â€
