Colors of ‘Grey’
As a fan of the TV series “Grey’s Anatomy,†I read Mary McNamara’s article [“ ‘Grey’s’ Takes a Scalpel to Standard Procedure,†May 15] with interest.
In her interview with head writer Shonda Rhimes, Ms. Rhimes is described as saying “that she made it clear she wanted to see actors of every color for every role.â€
I find that quote quite interesting, considering that I do not recognize any of the lead actors as being of Latino heritage. Am I missing something?
