Fullerton Housing Project Gets Underway
Construction will begin today on Soco Walk, a $50-million residential complex adjacent to the historic Santa Fe Depot in Fullerton.
The 120-unit project on a 5.5-acre site along Harbor Boulevard at Truslow Avenue will include lofts, town houses and “live-work†units that owners can use to run small businesses out of their homes. The first units will be ready in early 2006.
Developing the project is Olson Co., a Seal Beach home builder that specializes in urban projects. Soco stands for South of Commonwealth and describes an older Fullerton area experiencing some economic recovery.
